Discrimination

1. Unfortunately, in my country, there is discrimination of various types. I want to talk about discrimination of nationality. For example, when a person who carries an indian or egyptian citizenship and some other countries in asia/africa, he/she is treated badly. Like they don't give them priority and make their lives harder by giving them less money for salary. However if a european, canadian or american works there, they are very much respected and protected by the country if any problem is to occur.

2. I don't discrimate agaisnt any group of people, because I am very open minded and I was raised to see everyone the same.

3. I have experienced discrimant against myself. When I meet some people at times, and then they know I am from Saudia Arabia, they right away think I am rich and start talking about it.

4. I don't believe it is possible for anyone to be completely unbiased. We all need hold a view and opinion in order for us to advance in this life. If we were to be unbiased completely, I believe we will not be able to see what is right from wrong. For example, a war between two countries, if we take all the facts from both sides to why they are right, I believe we will see who is actually right in their view.

At first, I thought this short film was pointless. However at the end I was very amazed. I understood from this whole movie that the person being killed that you do not know is actually your own self. We see that the wife didn't know whether to push the button or not, but she still pushed it at the end. I cannot tell whether she pushed it for the money or she pushed it because she wanted to just stop thinking about pushing it or not, because this thinking was bothering her a lot. When Stewart says that someone did die and gave her the money, he was saying the truth about someone died. The point of this movie is to tell us that we all have a really bad behavior or characteristic in our personality that we do not realize what it is. In other words, we can carry bad habits or follow bad desires but we dont know it. I think that this is what was meant by killing a person you don't know.

I think in the industrial world there can be some things done in terms of the population. As I have said about the people being more materialistic, I think this is so because of the major advertisements of products in the industrial world. If advertisements and awareness can be raised about having families and about morality, then this can have an effect on the population. One great thing I found was the existence of a "family day" holiday in Ontario. I find this should be an everyday thing.

I am not so optimistic about the population in the future. In my view the worlds youth today have a lifestyle which will affect the future. Everyone now days are thinking about the selves and there are few who want children in this world. Everything today is materialistic. Everyone wants materials, only material is thir goal. We are not progressing toward how we will make this world morally better.Also, in addition , we are thinking of how we will rase our kids. like i said before, everyone wants what is best to them and not thinking so much of others. I think population will decrease if we don't give to humanity and live hand in hand with others. My frind once told me about having kids it will never be right for me to bring children to a world where they only think about themselves.
